The harbor of Falsled has a maritime flair, here you can also see the fishermen returning home from the sea and if you are lucky, you can buy some of their catch directly at the quay for dinner. Furthermore, the nearest town Faaborg offers many attractions, including The Mini Town, Faaborg Museum, a town guard tour and a ride on the veteran train from Faaborg to Corinth (in summer). Fyn is rightly called Denmark's Garden; it is also H.C. Andersen's birth island. The H.C. Andersen Museum in Odense describes his life and work in detail and is definitely worth a visit. On Fyn you can also visit the Fyn Village or the Danish Railway Museum. Among other things, Fyn is also ideally located for a trip to Copenhagen.
