Visit the old town of Marienstad and explore the car-free island of Brommö with a beautiful nature reserve. Paddle tours as well as island hopping are also a great idea. If you are vacationing in the area, a visit to Djurö National Park is a must. The Djurö archipelago consists of more than thirty islands and rocky islets in the middle of Lake Vänern. No archipelago in Sweden is located in such a remote and isolated place, and it is this remoteness that is so fascinating.
