The impressive Son Sureda estate, with its 1,500,000 m², has adapted to holiday guests of all ages after 500 years of agriculture, viticulture and livestock farming. The names of the eleven holiday apartments, which are distributed around the main house, the mayor's house and the outbuildings with one or two double rooms, still hint at their former use. On your walks around the old walls, you will discover many old horse-drawn carriages and interesting agricultural implements. You can enjoy your privacy on your own small terraces on the ground floor or with a view and have the opportunity to get to know other holidaymakers at the many tables and chairs or at the communal barbecue in the large courtyard. You can start your Mallorca morning in the impressive vaults (the former horse stables) or outside on the open grounds with a sumptuous, typical island breakfast, which you can order. Two pools with loungers and outdoor showers, a paddling pool, the playground with swings, sandpit, climbing frame and football pitch as well as chicken coops provide relaxation for solo travellers and couples as well as a farm holiday for families. We're sure there's an apartment that's just right for you.

Perhaps it's Es Figueral, the small, rustic casita behind the old water cistern, about 100 metres from the main house. Here you have a natural stone square in the grounds all to yourself. To really get a feel for your studio, be sure to look out for the three very old fig trees that give the property its name. Your Son Sureda realm would consist of a double bedroom with two 0.90 x 2 metre beds, a modern bathroom with bathtub (and a glass partition for showering) and a rustic living/dining room with open fireplace, rocking chairs, and a small dining table. On days when you want to stay at the property all day, you can prepare snacks, salads and small meals in the mini-kitchen with fridge, two ceramic hobs and a microwave. The terrace is furnished with a sofa bed and sun loungers and is surrounded by trees, which provide a cool breeze even on hot days. You should definitely take advantage of this and take a breather with an exciting book in between. And there are a number of worthwhile destinations: City life or sea breeze? From your villa accommodation, you can easily explore the different sides of the island. A good 15 kilometres away, the beaches await sun worshippers, surfers and families. The extensive Son Serra de Marina and the almost two-kilometre-long sandy beach in the direction of Colònia de Sant Pere offer enough space to spread out more than just a towel. If you want to enjoy the blue tones from above, drive to Betlem and climb the 5 kilometres to the small Ermita. Of course, more challenging routes for hiking boots and mountain bikes are also possible. The Ma-3322, which is sometimes audible depending on the wind direction, takes you to the town of Manacor for a spontaneous trip to the historic town centre or for shopping at the vitamin market. If you want to visit the cathedral in Palma, simply leave your car at the train station and take the bus or train. Holiday home in the countryside with lots of nature for villa guests. Make yourself at home on the Son Sureda agroturismo estate, which is located between sheep pastures and vineyards and has eleven self-catering flats and studios (here the separate Es Figueral), a large U-shaped courtyard and several pools. Manacor, one of the island's metropolises, is only 9 km away. It is ideal for shopping at the daily fruit and vegetable market, excursions and a relaxed dinner in a restaurant. And on the Badia dAlcúdia, in the direction of Son Serra de Marina and Colònia de Sant Pere, you can still find some beaches that are not yet overcrowded.
