The Gema townhouse is located at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains, surrounded by a fantastic mountain backdrop and peaceful village life. On the outskirts of Selva, the house awaits you with a beautifully landscaped garden oasis. Here you can relax on one of the comfortable loungers after a refreshing dip in the pool and enjoy the island sun. A shady chill-out lounge and a large, lovingly furnished covered outdoor kitchen with dining table and barbecue are further highlights of the idyllic outdoor area.

From the terrace behind the house, you have access to the villa's trendy white interior. The bright and lively ground floor welcomes you with a modern and fully equipped open-plan kitchen. The large wooden table with plenty of space for communal meals offers an alternative to the outdoor dining table right outside the patio door on cooler days. This is also a great place for a cosy evening of board games. A small desk for writing your holiday postcards or completing work you have brought with you and a large, comfortable corner sofa round off the living/dining area. There is also a bathroom and a bright, white double bedroom on this floor. Upstairs, guests have two further bedrooms and a bathroom at their disposal. One of the two bedrooms has access to the garden via an external staircase, giving you the shortest route to the pool for a morning dip. The bedroom at the front also has a large terrace with beautiful views and sun loungers for sunbathing.

If you are looking for authentic Mallorca away from the tourist centres, Selva is just the place for you. Surrounded by the impressive backdrop of the Tramuntana mountains, the picturesque narrow streets of the village seem to have stood still in time 100 years ago. Local shops and the weekly market are just a few minutes' walk away. If you visit a restaurant in the town, you can simply leave the car parked and treat the driver to a glass of good Mallorcan wine with dinner. Selva is the ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours in the nearby mountains. The beautiful monastery of Lluc, the spiritual centre of the island, can be reached on foot after 12 kilometres and 450 metres of ascent. The town of Inca, famous for its leather and shoes, can also be reached on foot in around an hour. However, we recommend travelling by car so that you can visit the many boutiques and outlet stores. Of course, you don't have to miss out on bathing fun during your stay, as the kilometre-long beaches of Alcúdia and Pollença are also practically on your doorstep. The modern Gema townhouse, with its cosy garden oasis and child-friendly pool, is located on the edge of the charming Tramuntana village of Selva. Selva is within easy walking distance. You can do your daily shopping around the village square. The weekly market is held here on Wednesdays and on Fridays there is a craft market with local products such as shoes, baskets, ceramics and fabrics. Both the bay of Alcúdia and its beautiful beaches and the island's capital Palma are just over 30 minutes away by car.
